If you haven’t signed up already, click here to join the StartSampling Showcase. Also make sure you click the confirmation email. To get started, you will need to fill out your mailing info and take a survey. Don’t worry though, it’s worth it because about once a year you can request basically a box of coupons and free samples! I signed up for this website the first time it was posted. I was very excited about it and appreciated the samples we were able to get while waiting for the box. But when I realized (today on the box’s release) that you would have to qualify for a box (it wasn’t first come first serve) I have to admit, I was miffed. I’m waiting to see how it plays out but I’m not sure what to think of it.
How do you know if you qualify?
(So I’ve read) after you answer the qualification questions, if the server is working properly, it should show you a message either saying you didn’t qualify or a box is on it’s way to you.

Has anyone got this to work or heard if its back up? I click the “See if you Qualify” button, it asks me to log in, I do and then nothing. I dont get questions to answer… is it a pop up?
I had the same problem. I don’t know if I qualify or not.
I have done this over and over since it started and it just keeps asking me to confirm login, i give up

That happened to me this morning but then I just waited until I got home from work and I was qualified i Think it takes some time to process
I didn’t qualify with being female, one child between 6&12, another child 13-17, and income 35-50k. Just so you know.
Same here…female….one child 6-12….and income 35-50k….not qualified at this time.
I re-entered my info with a different e-mail and answered the questions. It told me that a box will be sent to me so I’m guessing that meant it worked for me.
I was already registered so I went to see if I qualify for a package and the only 2 questions they asked were #1: the ages of my children or the option of choosing none in household which I checked.and #2: household income which I checked “prefer not to answer” I was disqualified for a showcase at this time…I think it must be for households who have children. Anyone have any thoughts??
Maybe it is for children. I also answered no children and income between 30 and 50000. Im a little saddened by this because i signed for this weeks ago, and it took all of 2 seconds to be disqualified. BUMMER!!
For those who frustratingly keep trying to log in and getting the log in page, that’s the servers being overwhelmed. Just keep trying and eventually you will get it. When you do, answer the questions like this and you’ll qualify:
Female
3 kids (pick any three age boxes, doesn’t matter)
income — $75,000 – $100,000
No, I’m not kidding on that last one. I qualified for my box by following someone else’s advice to choose the above and it went through! I guess they want really rich folk to get the samples (scratching my head).
Got my first box today! Lots of fun stuff and great coupons! Will wait a few to log on though as the site was taken down for an indefinite period of time!
So I confirmed the email and I tried to sign up for the box but i couldn’t get past the sign in-I entered my info and it kept having me sign in. I tried about 10 times now and am very frustrated! Someone help!!!!
i signed up also and tried to see what i qualified for and it says i have bad credintials, what is up with that
Hey Anonymous, that means your signin info is different than the one you registered with. Try requesting the password to be sent to you.
Does anyone ever qualify? Why do you have to qualify for a FREE sample box? And what exactly are the qualifications?
I put in my real info the first time and did not qualify then I used a different email and I followed what Lila said and I GOT IN! Go figure! Thanks for the tip Lila 🙂
