1. Why does a free sample offer require my phone number? I’ve done quite a lot of free offers and do not recall ever being required to submit a phone number. When a space for a phone number is provided, if at all, it has always been optional – not required for a free sample. Isn’t this unusual?

   • Hey Marilyn rarely is there a valid reason for a freebie offer to require a phone number. If a freebie requires a phone number honestly I just put in 555-555-5555
