Many chain grocery stores offer an annual turkey giveaway. In order to qualify for the FREE turkeys for Thanksgiving, you have to spend a specific amount of money at the store. This even beats buying cheap turkeys or turkeys on sale! Here are some stores that offer a FREE turkey giveaway:
Most ShopRite stores require you to spend $400 on groceries between October 18 through November 26 in order to qualify for your FREE turkey. They also offer the option of a FREE ham. Be sure to check with your local ShopRite as some stores require a lower total amount to be spent between the designated dates. Be sure to have your Price Plus Club card scanned each time you make a purchase at ShopRite.
If you have a SafeWay near you, take advantage of their FREE turkey giveaway! You can get a FREE Honeysuckle frozen turkey that is 16 pounds or less when you spend $100! Or, you could opt to get a FREE Tom brand turkey that is 16.01 lbs. or more if you spend $150 or more at Safeway.
Acme is also offering FREE frozen turkeys when you spend $100. You can choose from a Shady Brook Farms grade A basted frozen turkey that is an average of 10-22 lb. or a Pride of the Farm frozen turkey breast that is an average of 4-7 lb. Please note, this offer is only valid through November 12! Be sure to print your coupon for the FREE turkey and redeem it in stores.
